An Brief Introdution to the Site

         GusGo's  Web Blog Site  was made to share with you few of my  own personal thoughts and projects. Until recently, most of my compositions were limited to journeys. Now, I  wish is to address YOU, not the masses, not the elites,  only you.   I  just want to present  you my attempt to answer critically life 's big questions. You have the opportunity to accept , deny, or refute my propositions. So , welcome , to the debate.

    The core of  my ideas comes from my life experiences: growing as a young man in Venezuela ,and later going back,  rebelling against the status quo , overcoming feelings of alienation from a society very different from me , living abroad and wandering over the world across  places  like the United States, Canada, Mexico, the Middle East , Europe, China, Central America, and The Amazons.

  They also come from a lot of  daydreaming, meditating , reading and thinking about pretty  much everything but especially about traditional problems in Philosophy as represented by other philosophers. 

  Anyway , my web logs try to tell my quest  dealing with intellectual questions, socio-political issues, moral dilemmas, and  personal crises of every day life. Eventhough, some of my conclusions could be outside the normal social conventions and in some cases totally unorthodox , somehow, I offer ,in my  arguments , reasons to believe that my claims are true. 

   I am not an academic or a scholar nor I pretend to be one.  I am just a guy who sees philosophy as a way of life ,and  writing as a form of self expression. 

 Very soon after scanning through some of my posts , you will notice (beside that I need serious editing sorry dyslexia in the house) few frequent themes: 

 1) My desire to escape from the established social norms for a rich life of personal  auto realization and an authentic cultivation of a strongly independent and autonomous identity

2) The central important  I attach to freedom : Freedom to explore one’s potential, Freedom to create one’s self, Freedom of personal expression, Freedom from rigidly defined roles and hierarchical  systems, and also important, the Freedom to fail.

3)  My constant searching for meaning in the world, running away from emptiness through creative action.

4)  A love for natural processes. My inclination towards solitude.

5)  My analysis  to  major problems  in modern industrial society  with the propositions.

   Continually, I am adding new material to the site. Constantly, I am updating it with more information.

   These days, I have been active in discussions about Spirituality, Creativity, and Philosophy in SoulPancake.com. I add my postings in here too.

   In addition, The web site  includes  information about two projects of mine: the agro-ecological /auto sufficient home project “The Shire" , and a list of my formal philospphy papers
